It’s time for another wonderful weekend of Cars & Motorcycles in Monterey!
For those of you who haven’t attended these events in the past, the Mazda Employee weekend track events are a great time and in a beautiful location. TrackMasters Racing will once again be assisting in the management of the this event through this registration process and execution the the day of the event.
The format for the event will be:
(2) Run Groups of Cars - Advanced and ‘Mixed’ run groups
(2) Run Groups of Motorcycles - Advanced and ‘Mixed’ run groups
‘Mixed’ = This run group is a combination of Intermediate and Novice level drivers/riders. Novice drivers will have a large stick-on vinyl ‘dot’ on the back of their car, and Novice riders will wear a bright colored vest.
The ‘dot’ on a car means that if you come up on a ‘dotted’ car, you can only pass with a hand signal ‘point by’, and only in the area’s discussed in the drivers meeting the day of the event.
The ‘bright colored vest’ indicates that the Rider is a Novice, and as a faster rider you should be very careful when passing the Rider. (not too close, not in corners, etc)
“Advanced” = Primarily experienced drivers/riders who can ride and drive in an open passing environment.
The fees below cover you for BOTH DAYS, and are the same even if you choose to attend only one of the two days. If you plan to ride and drive, then you should pay 2 fees, etc. The exception would be if you plan to ride one day, and drive the 2nd day. In this case you just send in one fee.
All Mazda Employees and Guests DO NOT have to join TrackMasters Racing to attend this event. However, we do request that you fill out a REGISTRATION FORM so we have all your vehicle & contact information. Having this helps us with the organization and management of the event. PLEASE SPECIFY WITHIN THE REGISTRATION FORM IF YOU ARE ATTENDING ONE OR BOTH DAYS!!
These events have always been incredibly fun, so check those calendars and start the season off the right way - at the track!
